Bristol Rovers man reveals he is still owed money by Bolton Wanderers

Speaking after Bristol Rovers’ 1-0 win over Swindon Town – in which he scored the winning goal – defender Mark Little has said that he is still owed money by former club Bolton Wanderers, adding that it is “fantastic” to be at a “proper club” again.

Bristol Rovers summer signing Mark Little has said that he is loving life with the Gas, saying that it is “fantastic to be at a proper club again” after enduring a difficult time with former club Bolton Wanderers.

Little joined Bristol Rovers upon his departure from Bolton Wanderers earlier this summer, with the cash-strapped club losing their senior players as a result of their financial troubles.

And now, it has been revealed that their issues are not completely resolved, with Mark Little coming out to say that he is still owed money by his former club. He said (quotes via Bristol Live):

“It’s fantastic to be at a proper club again. I love it here. I’ve lived all over the country and Bristol is by far my favourite city and it’s great to be here.

“That (Bolton) was shambolic. I’ve never seen anything like it. They’re still putting out now into the media that everything is sorted – it’s not. We’re still owed money. I’m still in constant contact trying to find out what is going on.

“I’m trying my hardest to leave that behind by coming back to Bristol, getting settled, getting a regular place in the team and being a successful team. When I do that, it’s only going to be a bit of time and it’ll be out of my head.”
